Dear TSMS Families,

On behalf of the Thompson's Station Middle School PTO Board, welcome!

Our 2018-2019 school year will be an exciting year, as we open our second k-8 school in Williamson County.

What is our TSMO PTO vision? To enhance the educational and extracurricular experience for all students at TSMS. The PTO provides a collaborative voice for all Parents, Teachers and Students in and out of school to provide quality school experiences. Also to raise money to support a well-balanced educational experience for all student in the face of tightening budgets.

We will focus our efforts on four points this year:

  • Fundraising – As we start out the year and the new school, there are numerous projects. Just to name a few, We need bleachers, and scoreboards. We were not provided these as the school is being built. Need money for concessions for home games, Welcome Back events, computers, and library books for teachers. These are just a few things that the PTO provides.

  • Volunteerism – to activate the talents of our parent community to help support TSMS administration and teachers in fulfilling their vision.

  • Communication – to inform and help facilitate productive dialogue between administration, teachers, parents and the community – this includes TSMS newsletter, our Facebook page – and a brand new website.

  • School Spirit – to give our community more reasons and ways to feel pride in our school.

How can you help?

We can not do any of this without YOU! Support with your talent and time and support with your monetary donation. It takes many volunteers to make that happen and parent volunteers are always necessary and welcome. Check with this website often to review the many volunteer opportunities.

Please let me know if you have any questions. We will do our best to keep you updated with what is happening in our PTO, our school and in our community. I look forward to working with you this year.

Many thanks,

Kathleen Pisors
